I am hopeful that the recent cold and snowy weather was the final glimpse of winter as we transition into spring. With the arrival of spring, an exciting and active period awaits us, filled with a variety of engaging activities for all students.
In the upcoming weeks, students can look forward to numerous field trips, quiz bowl competitions, elementary field day, FFA competitions, and music and band concerts. Let's not forget about prom - a fun and exciting time for our high school students. These events provide excellent educational opportunities and experiences for our students.
Additionally, there are several golf and track meets scheduled during the months of April and May. Please stay tuned to our school website and social media channels for any updates regarding postponements or cancellations of these events. We wish our athletes the best of luck as they begin their competitions.
It is crucial to ensure that students involved in these extracurricular activities maintain their academic performance and keep up-to-date with their grades. Spring is also the season for state and district assessments, which are extremely important. These assessments provide valuable insights for the school and teachers. The assessment schedule will be available on the school website and in the elementary principal's weekly newsletter.
As we rapidly approach the end of the school year, it is imperative to monitor your child's grades on Infinite Campus. This invaluable tool enables you to track your student's grades, lunch balance, and other essential information.
Should you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher. They are dedicated to supporting you and your child throughout the remainder of the academic year.
