Launch the media gallery 1 playerDuring December, Second grade students and the elementary staff collected 30 pairs of pajamas. We participated in the Scholastic Reading Club Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive. This drive benefits the Pajama Program, a nonprofit organization that provides new pajamas and books to children in need, especially those living in group homes, shelters, and foster care. For every pair of pajamas we collected, Scholastic donated a new book. We were happy to find out that all of our donations will stay in Nebraska. We would like to send a big thanks to everyone who was able to donate to this wonderful program. During the holiday season it was nice for our students to be able to help other children in need.
